SHARED EQUITY ARRANGEMENT

A shared equity arrangement is a method of financing the purchase of a residence where two or more individuals acquire an ownership interest in a dwelling unit and one or more of the co-owners occupies the property and pays fair rent to the non-occupying co-owner(s).
